Kenmore Range F2/E0 Error Code

Kenmore repair checklist · San Francisco Bay Area

VERIFIED

Error code F2/E0
Appliance Range

The message

The Kenmore 665 model range writes its codes as pairs, an F-code followed by an E-code. F2/E0 reports that the keypad wire harness is disconnected.

Do this in order

  1. Shut off power at the range, or unplug it.
  2. Look for a keypad wire harness that has worked loose, and plug it in again.
  3. Restore electrical power and press Cancel.

If the code returns

An F2/E0 that is still on the display after 60 seconds leads the manual to a new keypad. If the trouble remains after that, the electronic oven control is replaced. Both replacements are for a technician.

Related Kenmore range codes

  • F2/E5 reports a defective Cancel key on the same series.
  • F2/E6 is the second Cancel key message.
  • F2E0 is the keypad disconnected message without a slash, used by 664 models.

Kenmore range service in the Bay Area

San Francisco owners whose 665 series range keeps showing F2/E0 can book through Kenmore range repair. Keep the model number and a note of whether the harness was already reseated at hand, then call (415) 825-6393.

Model compatibility: Kenmore reuses codes across series and model years, so F2/E0 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
