How to request a visit
The quickest way to start is the request form on this site. Tell us which appliance needs attention, describe what it is doing, and give the address or neighborhood so we can confirm that it falls inside our service area. A technician then follows up to arrange a time that suits you. Every visit begins with a diagnosis, and you receive a written estimate before any repair starts. We do not repair anything until you approve it.
What to have ready
A few details make the first exchange much more useful. None of them is required to get in touch, but each one saves time.
- The full model number. It is on a label that is usually inside the door frame, on a side wall, behind a drawer, under the lid or along the door opening, depending on the appliance. Our guide to finding a Kenmore model number shows the typical places.
- The symptom in your own words. When it started, whether it happens every time, and any noise, smell or leak you noticed.
- Any code on the display. Write it down exactly as shown. Our error codes page may already explain it.
- What you have already tried. Resetting power once, checking the breaker or cleaning a filter are all worth mentioning.
- Access notes. Parking, a building entry system, a stacked laundry closet or a narrow hallway all help the technician plan the visit.
Hours
We work Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Requests sent outside those hours are read when the day begins, and you do not need to wait for a particular hour to write.
Where we go
We serve San Francisco and the Bay Area, covering San Mateo, Santa Clara, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. If you are unsure whether your street is included, send the request anyway and mention the neighborhood. You can read about each area on the locations page.
If something feels unsafe
Some situations should not wait for a form. If you smell gas, leave the home, avoid switches and lighters, and call the gas utility or 911 from outside. If an appliance smells of burning or throws sparks, switch it off at the breaker and keep away from it. Once the situation is safe, send us the details and we will pick up from there.
Not sure what to ask for?
If you cannot tell whether the problem is worth a visit, start with the common problems index. It groups symptoms by appliance and links to troubleshooting guides. The frequently asked questions also explain estimates, approvals and what a typical visit looks like. When you are ready, the form is waiting.
