When 4d/11 shows on a Kenmore 665 model freestanding range, the switch that senses the oven door and the switch inside the lock are not telling the same story. The manual lists the code with 4d/12, 4d/51 and 4d/52.
Light test, then wiring
The manual opens with a look at the oven light while the door is swung open and shut. A light that does not switch with the door calls for a new oven door switch. A light that works properly sends the check to the lock: take power off or unplug the range, then press back any loose wires on the door lock assembly wire harness. Harnesses with damage are replaced, and a lock assembly that is visibly damaged is replaced as well.
